Speaking of breakfasts I have to mention Cafe Sofia on Wexford St. This place is great - its open 7 days a week from 8am in the morning til 7pm at night. Without a doubt the best breakfast Ive had in Dublin - 2 sausages,2 rashers, beans, fried egg, chips, big pot of tea and 2 slices of toast all for €5! Yes a Fiver - so as well as great tasting its also super value!

And you can get a refill for the big pot of tea at no extra charge!

Seriously you cant beat Cafe Sofia!

[...] Righty so. After my first recommendation a while back my next suggested stop is a small spot called Idelwilde in Dalkey Village (just down the side street from Xtravision). I started going there a few years ago when my little boy was in Montessori in Dalkey for a short time and only started going back there in the last year. [...]

Think I'll start with Rathmines!

Cafe Moda in Rathmines. Great bagels, hearty Irish breakfast, croissants, scrambled eggs and salmon, decent flavoured coffee and not massively overpriced either. And that's just their breakfast section of the menu, they also do lunch and dinner. Try the chicken Caesar salad, delish!
