Cappuccino Art
Dervla | July 8, 2006Donnybrook Fair in Morehampton Road (there is one on Baggot Street also) have a very nice restaurant upstairs from the shop. I recently paid a visit and, along with great food, they do a fine line in cappuccino art. I nearly didn’t want to drink it! I’m not sure if this was done with a stencil or by hand but its impressive.

well, that’s classier than a shamrock drawn on the top of your guinness foam.
But you wouldn’t want to drink it, I wouldn’t want to ruin the lovely pattern. If you take sugar, do you just throw it all over the top or try to squeeze it into a white foam bit.
Check out more cool pics like this from a Flickrer Tonx’s Latte Art set here http://www.flickr.com/photos/tonx/sets/48921/. Some are amazing! I like the lion.
Theres some seriously cool photos in that link. I had no idea coffee art was so popular !
That’s wonderful!

Hi, I’ve been obsessed with coffee art for a while now, and I came across this movie which shows someone making patterns similar to the flower above.

Note that the movie itself is clean, but the links around it are not safe for work.
