Colm's predictions for the following 4 Football Quarter Finals ...

CORK VS DONEGAL
A brutal match in store - 2 boring teams. Donegal will continue to play their long ball routine into 2 tiny full forwards with little success after Anthony Lynch hangs them out to dry. Cork's forward line to make Masterson do all the work and take the credit themselves. Cork to win by a few points. Donegal to go back to selling illegal Red-Diesel

ARMAGH VS KERRY
Tough one to call. Armagh are season competitors but they're forward line have been shooting blanks all season. Kerry look to be getting their form back after dishing a walloping to Longford. It'll be a brutal match but I can see Kerry coming away with it.

MAYO VS LAOIS
This will be one of the closer matches. Mayo's defense needs a good root in the hole. They've been lucky with playing brutal opposition with the might of Leitrim and the U12's Galway team. Just like Cork, they'll require one man (Mortimer) to do all the scoring and McDonald to do all the work. Laois on the other hand will require the Ginger Clancy to pretend to play stylish football while the real work is done by Kelly, Sheehan, Quigley and Conway. Again, they'll ask Munnelly to put the easy free over the bar while taking 10 steps forward in the process to make the angle easier. Laois to win by a few points. One thing to warn Laois management, never send your goalkeeper up to take a penalty - Goes to show how "accurate" your forwards are when your goalkeeper is sent up to take a penalty.

DUBLIN VS WESTMEATH
This will pretty much be the Leinster Final all over again with The Dubs sh*tting bricks and afraid to stick the ball over from the Half-Forward line. Westmeath will stay with The Dubs up until 40/50 mins and then The Dubs will find the extra gear. Well, they'd bloody well want to - They've been training for this since last AUGUST! Westmeath's Dessie Dolan will get the odd score but Dublin's defence will have gotten a rollicking from Pillar Caffrey after their first 35 mins performance Vs the Biffo's. An arse kicking will have been handed out and the threat of an early ice-bath will be sticking in the minds of the Dubs defence. Dublin to win by a 4 or more points.
