Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Dervla | October 10, 2006I have only just reaslied that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month thanks to an article I came across of Liz Hurley at Brown Thomas launch yesterday. That is shockingly slack of me since today is 10 days into October. I obviously need to find another way to stay up to date with current events! Many stores around the country are selling products where a percentage of the cost price goes towards cancer charities. Here are a few:
* Marks and Spencer donate to the Marie Keating Foundation.
* Brown Thomas have a Prescriptives offer and an Estee Lauder offer. Monies raised from these products will be donated to the Clinical Cancer Research Trust at St. Vincents Hospital, Dublin.
Please support these campaigns if you can and remember, women who are breast aware are more likely to detect changes early. Further information can be found on these websites:
