This got me thinking about the 150,000 ducks that were released as part of a fundraiser for the Childrens Hospital in Crumlin, and where some of them may have ended up now. I’ve heard of some ending up in Cork and Waterford and even Anglesea!! If you’ve found one of the ducks in a strange or unusual location, I’d love to hear from you!

Nearly 3 years on at 8.45am Tue 2nd March 2009 I found a small yellow rubber duck no. 1917 along the walkway between Dun Laoghaire baths and the East Pier – must be a bit of a home bird – unless of course it has completed a circumnavigation!

To correct error in my last post – I should have said nearly 4 years on and 2010!!
