We have AWFUL coffee in most shops and restaurants so if anything is better than bad it’s classed as good

There is a lovely little coffee stand in the Temple Bar Food Markey every Saturday that does a nice coffee. After that I stay away from Coffee Sol and Bewleys. Will go to Insomnia when I want a walk out coffee or if I’m feeling daft i’ll visit Starbucks for a venti caramel machiato (which probably invalidates my taste in coffee)

The coffee was good… but what does it means ‘good coffee’ for an irish fellow? Or in other worlds how it is carried out an irish coffee? (not the alcholic drink of course…)

They’ve started putting the lights and street decorations up. Grafton St and Wicklow St are done. I’m not sure when the lights will be switched on. When I hear, I’ll post.

I’ve never been to Dublin, and there is no better occasion to go than when every streets are nicely decorated for Xmas !

Would you know when it’s happening ?

Yes, I should have mentioned that! There was a very interesting collection on African children on display the night I visited. I thought all the art on display was original, interesting and it really added to the “feel” of the place. The only drawback being I thought a quite lot of it was a little overpriced.

One of my favourite restaurants. And I especially like the way they have art on their walls that you can purchase.
