Strangely though it didn't seem to be that popular in Ireland and didn't stay long in cinemas. In the last few days there seems to be some confusion as to the eligibility of "Falling Slowly" for the Oscars. News report <a href="http://www.rte.ie/arts/2008/0129/once.html" rel="nofollow">here</a>. A decision by the Oscar committee will be made today. I hope its a positive one. I loved the film too.
