The guys work so hard and the few I've seen are kinda cute. Basically they are a really friendly cab service that will take you anywhere in the city centre area...FOR FREE I went in one on my own in one recently and so I decided to quiz the driver (after he told me about the service and the sponsor). I asked if they got paid and he said yes but when I asked how much he was very reluctant to answer, after much persuasion he answered but asked me not to make it public knowledge! Let me just say that these guys pull their cabs about 30 - 40km per day bringing you and I to wherever we need to go, all weather and 7 days...and trust me, they don't get paid very much!! I have always given a tip even though the drivers say it is not necessary. I was amazed to hear that not everybody tips. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? Come on these guys are helping you to reduce your carbon footprint and ALSO save your poor feet :) ...even in the rain. A couple of € EURO, now that's value for money!! Grab one next time you are in town, tell 'em Sarah sent you ;) Enjoy Fantastic Value

Whether it be for tourism (from cultural one place to another) or because you're lazy, it is a nice thing to try. You may find the guys a little grumpy at times - mind you they hardly get a break ! I asked one of them last week and he told me that there are only 10 ecocabs in town. Ten for the whole city really is not a lot so you can imagine that if they carry 2000 passengers a week, they generally have a crazy day of "work". Anyway, whenever you get a chance, try it ! The riders are really nice and I think they know me now, I would always give them a euro or two tip anyway cos they do a good job I think its a great service, 2,000 passengers a week I read the other day!
