Dublin Bus Strike Cancelled
Dec | February 25, 2009The planned NBRU and Siptu bus strikes originally scheduled for Saturday and Monday have been called off. This should make things much easier for anyone planning on travelling to Dublin for the 6-Nations rugby game.

Aren’t we all glad the bus strike’s been cancelled for Saturday? Certainly I remember the bus strike back about 7/8 years ago. Lasted about a week if I’m right, and what a nightmare it was, trying to get to and from work everyday. We don’t need anything like this in this gloomy age of the recession, there’s few and far between of us that can afford to be swanning around in taxis and the likes. I mean, as the fella says, walking will only get you so far.
