City Buzz in Pictures
Brandon | July 26, 2009Walking through the city centre the other day, there was a LOT of energy and buzz. Seemed like every third person was a walking U2 advert. Tourist season is also in full swing, though there seemed to be fewer American tourists than usual. And, of course, Ikea is opening tomorrow, so they’re hoping you’ll “Be sick.”

The free “eco cab” service is also back for the summer, with a bit more of a cyber-push.

And these young people were joining scores of others in Europe’s big cities for a “free hug” campaign. Funny enough, as I chatted with them, they didn’t seem to have any idea of the movement that they were a part of. I guess that’s often characteristic of a “viral” movement.

Does anyone know an Elaine Carroll; I know there are a bunch of them but the one I am looking for is in her early forty’s and from Tallaght.
We were old pals who have lost contact… I miss her. Please help if you can. My e-mail is sfitz1968@aol.com.
