About Daragh
Daragh is Irish, living in Australia, in his twenny’s and is an IT Manager by trade! He currently works for Austcover a funky, rapidly growing insurance company based in Brisbane, with offices in Sydney and throughout the country. Previous to this, he worked at the very cool LINX – London Internet Exchange, making the internet a better place. He loves what he does and considers himself exceptionally lucky because he works at his hobby!
Daragh lives in the uber cool Emporium Complex in Brisbane, Australia after previously living in Canary Wharf, London for a while and home in Ireland before that.
Daragh has a very keen interest in photography, he’s currently working on building up a portfolio he would be happy to have out in the public domain. You can find most of his work in his flickr stream.
Daragh had a brainwave in March 06 to set up the Dublin Community Blog @ www.dublinblog.ie as a means to promote his home city, and drive interest in blogging. Given he’s 10500 miles away from Dublin now however, he’s taken a back seat from writing here, and just looks after the back end work on the blog.
Daragh’s other interests are food, wine, coffee, whisky, rugby (spectating), travel (lots), formula one, keeping up to speed with global news and photography.
Daragh used to drive a green MINI Cooper and now drives a blue MINI Cooper S, along with a scooter called Milo! Being in Australia, with a huge country to explore in a very cool car, is very exciting. Exploring on the scooter is not such a good idea!
Daragh has lived in Brisbane since February 2008 along with his partner in crime.

hello my name is Séamus Ó’Bric and i’m a secondary school teacher in
Kerry. i am currently writing a text book for 13 -16 year olds in
Science in Irish. i need colourful pictures for this and have found some
pictures ideal for my project at
http://www.dublinblog.ie/wp-content/uploads/2007/01/phil2.jpg
that i’d like to use. this text book would hopefully be sold throughout
ireland to irish speaking schools since no such text exists at the moment.
i would therefore be very thankful if you could outline what i would need
to do in order to use your picture.
thank you

Seamus,
The photograph is one of mine. I have the original JPG which is a larger size and quality so it could be more up to the standard a printer would want. If you are still interested in using it in your book, please contact me at decsramble@gmail.com

I´m a german photolournalist and i´m searching informations about the dublin ponykids. I would like to know where there live and how to become a contact with them. It would be nice if you could help me to find out more about them?
