Hello to all / best Chinese buffet in Dublin
Karen | April 12, 2006Hello bloggers,
This is my first post on the Dublin Community Blog (thanks to Daragh and Red Mum for inviting me along) so this is just a short note to introduce myself and say hi. I have NO idea how to use Word Press so I may make a haimes of this, though only time will tell.
Anyway, in time honoured tradition, I’m thinking about my stomach so I thought I’d share with you a little nugget of information about the best Chinese lunchtime all-you-can-eat buffet in Dublin. Well, in my opinion anyway. It’s secreted upstairs in the Abberly Court Hotel, just off the Belgard Road in Tallaght (try the 65B, 77, 77A, 49 or the Luas from the city centre and then ask for directions once you hit Tallaght) and I have to say it’s great value and delicious.
Unlike many other buffets, it has a really wide selection (starters such as soup, spring rolls, won tons, chicken wings, spare ribs) then several main courses including beef, chicken and even duck along with rice (both kinds) chips and noodles. And all for €10.50. You can fill your plate as often as you like and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Just for the record, no, I don’t work there, I just think it’s a great place and should be noted.
Anyway, it’s lunchtime, so I’m off for me buffet (obviously the diet is out the window today).
