Red Mum

Daragh | March 24, 2006

Check out Redmum’s Website

Red Mum.jpg

Red Mum is originally from Belfast but has lived on Dublin’s northside for the past 15 years so if that doesn’t make her an honourary Dub, then what does?

She’s also fond of Burdock’s chips, wine and open fires and has been known to go to the shops in her pajamas, which only serves to cement her Dub status.

She is Mum to the Young Wan and the wee doggie and loves photography, writing, crossword puzzles and nights out with friends.

Her personal blog was shortlisted in the Best Personal Blog category at the inaugural Irish Blog Awards in 2006. In 2007 she was shortlisted for the Best Photoblog and Best Personal Blog categories winning the Best Personal Blog.

Daragh | March 24, 2006

Rick is a radio presenter with RTE 2FM, 10 to midnight, Monday to Thursday and yes, working 8 hours a week is very demanding thank you very much :-)

It does however leave him a fair amount of time to blog both here and at

http://ricksbreakfastblog.blogspot.com/

and run his Bebo and Myspace pages

Daragh

Daragh | March 24, 2006

Daragh is in his mid-twenny’s and works as a Network Engineer for LINX – The London Internet Exchange. He loves what he does and considers himself lucky because he works at his hobby and lives in one of the coolest cities in the world! Daragh has been blogging with varying degrees of success here at www.daraghmcg.org since March 2003.

Daragh has a very keen interest in photography, he’s currently working on building up a portfolio he would be happy to have out in the public domain. He started a photoblog on Jan 1st 2006 as a way to try and improve his photographic eye. This can be found at www.daraghmcg.org/photo. As with everything else, finding the time in life to keep this going isn’t as easy as he thought it was going to be!

Of course, despite all this, Daragh had a brainwave in March 06 to set up the Dublin Community Blog www.dublinblog.ie to add to his woes.

Daragh’s other interests are rugby (spectating), sailing, travel (lots), formula one, keeping up to speed with global news, and writing thoughts and opinions about what’s going on in the world when time allows.

Daragh used to drive a green MINI Cooper which he misses dearly, but no longer needs now that he lives in London. Home used to be about 50km north of Dublin, Ireland with his family, including two dogs and a cat.

Daragh has lived in London since August 2007 along with his partner in crime!

If you’re still interested, and wondering what he looks like, then look no further than here! :)

Daragh | March 24, 2006

Welcome!

This is the Dublin Community Blog, something which does what it says on the tin really. It is a blog that is contributed to by some of Dublin’s most talented, witty and engaging bloggers.
